The Ill Na Na is back on the scene making it evident that she's never even heard of the Sophomore jinx. After the success of Foxy Brown's amazing first album, 'Ill Na Na', one could only wait in patient anticipation of this, her second album. For the most part, Foxy doesn't disappoint. As usual, Foxy is coming at ya with her rugged, nerve-stimulating, razor sharp voice spread out over 17 tracks. Foxy shines on her solo songs as well as those featuring female artists. Unfortunately her male rapper recruits don't quite suit her album and her money probably could have been spent more wisely elsewhere. Nonetheless, this album is only going to build on Foxy's success and gain her more popularity with strong-willed, independant females.

"BWA (Bitches With Attitude) is just an amazing song featuring another prominent female gangsta rapper, Mia X and a talented up and comer, Gangsta Boo. An upbeat song, with an overdrive feel, church bell sound, and an amazing grind to it. "Hot Spot", Foxy's second single, is sure to be taking the clubs by storm. A sparkling beat with a chorus to which you'll surely be singing. "J.O.B." glares with Mya's shine as she sings the hook, which is a sure-shot to be stuck in your head. "I Can't" is a sultry, R&B laced track that is vocally deep.

I had high expectations for this album. Unfortunately they were too high. I was hoping for a performance that would outshine her debut album, but I realize that that's too much to expect. Nonetheless, this album has a great many high points that make it a worthwhile purchase. If you're a lover of the female gangsta rap style, then this is a must get album.
