End Of Time

UNTIL THE END OF TIME
2PAC
Death Row/Interscope/Universal Records
Ranking 9.2/10

In a recent interview with K-Ci & Jojo, they stated that 2Pac was the truest, realest, most down-to-earth rapper that they'd ever known. This statement holds true and strong on 'Until The End Of Time'. This double album portrays the real 2Pac everyone grew to love. I was disappointed with his last album, 'Still I Rise' because Pac's unique style was missing. 'Until The End Of Time' is on point and simply amazing. The rhymes are tight with fresh, but standard 2pac-esk beats. He spits real heartfelt verses on "Letter 2 My Unborn", "Happy Home", "Ballad Of A Dead Soulja", "Until The End Of Time", and "Words 2 My First Born". And yet, he's able to turn on the gangsta style with some real thugged out tracks. With all the controversy surrounding Death Row records, its nice to see them present 2Pac's underground, bootlegged material with a touch of class.

The first cd was superior to the second. "Thug N U Thug N Me (remix)" features K-Ci & Jojo and is out-of-this-world. The beat is blazin', the theme is so true and real, this track is destined to eat up dance floors all across the world. "Let Em Have It", "All Out", "Ballad Of A Dead Soulja", "Until The End Of Time" and "Breathin" were all amazing tracks. The second disc was a good listen playing hard on "U Don't Have 2 Worry", "Runnin On E", "Thug N U Thug N Me", and "Let Em Have It (remix)".

Without a doubt this is one of 2Pac's best works. It is on the same level as 'All Eyez On Me', which makes it scary to think of the album's potential were 2pac still alive. This double album is worth every penny and only strengthens this deceased artist's stranglehold on the rap game. Despite his death five years ago, the legacy of 2Pac continues to grow thicker than his own shed blood.
