Duck Down Records is a label that has grown in size and stature since its creation in June of 1995. This label now includes such rap artists as Heltah Skeltah, Buckshot, Cocoa Brovaz, Black Moon and O.G.C. Collectively, the group of artists under the Duck Down records have recorded under the name 'Boot Camp Clik'. This label has endured moderate success, with several impressive singles. After 4 years in tha bidness, you come to expect a compilation album. This is the compilation album, and it falls short of what it should have been. Duck Down took the low road, instead of producing a compilation with a couple renown hits, they put forth a slew of okay songs, with just a few good songs.

"Ultimate MC" is the best song on the compilation. With in your face lyrics from Heltah Skeltah & Saukrates. This song reaches a higher level with the best lyrics of the whole album. But this song still wouldn't make my mixtape. Some of the better songs are the remix of "Worldwind" by Black Moon, "Wanted" by Eeka Mouse & Steele, and "You Can't F*** Wit Us" by BDI Thug, Steele & Swan.

This compilation was definitely aimed at Duck Down Record's hard core fans. If I had been in charge of Duck Down records, I would've produced a compilation that featured some of their best songs. They're not an extremely well known record label and could have turned more hip hop heads their way with better song selection. Unless you're a big Duck Down record fan then the "Duck Down Presents" compilation is not worth your money.
