DJ Feedback:
* Murielle Savoie - NB Sound Initiatives (NBSI) - Fredericton, NB - "Biggs is a very well organized person. His projects show that he has taken the time to do his homework. Others could certainly benefit from his experience!"
* Sean Patrick Sullivan - Virtual Expert Clinics Ltd - Fredericton, NB - "In the five years I have known him, Brockway Biggs has consistently surprised me: he's gone from being a humble music reviewer to an ECMA winner, all because of his creative and persistent self-promotion. Biggs has worked relentlessly toward his goals, never losing sight of reality, keeping his goals close and his friends even closer. I look forward to seeing what he'll accomplish next."
* Darryl Rodway - Urbnet.com - Toronto, ON - "Brockway Biggs has been a national radio consultant on our latest album release of Classified - 'Boy-Cott-In The Industry.' We are very impressed with his solid work ethic and networking skills."
* Adam Gould - Broken Kost Productions - Moncton, NB - "Awesome show last week, it was wicked meeting with you. I always love seeing new (to me) local talent makin waves on the EC. Thanks muchly for the CD you hooked me up with, I've rocked it in my CD player at least a dozen times already."
* DJ EarthQuake - Live365 - Everett, WA - "Yo I am feeling Shake Ya Caboose and This is Me, but not the b side tracks. The tempo is too fast on the super dude and p. tipty. Really feeling the lyrics. Really unique style and I am feeling it."
* DJ Neoteric - Vancouver, BC - "I can see your catchy tracks making noise when they are realized in a less serious manner, more in the eyes of the younger, fun fan. Thanks for the pack Biggs, ill put it to work! Stickers look nice and the presentation in terms of label and cover design is great. "Super Dude (Jorun Remix Radio)": The production is BONKERS! Big ups Jorun, the change ups are great, when the bass kicks its on. dope shit for the b-boys too. Very catchy, danceable, gets stuck in your head."
* DJ Sage - CFRO - North Vancouver, BC - "It is clear that Pimp Tea's music is meant to be fun, but also something that you can dance to. The beats and the catchy hooks accomplish this goal."
* DJ Oli Dobolli - Croatian Radio 2 / UDRUGA HIP-HOP - 10 000 Zagreb, Croatia - "'Shake Ya Caboose': The song surprised me positively. Really like the beat, its really done nicely, even bob marley would be proud. Those couple of scratches also fits in nicely. Surprise, in a nice way! Feeling this! Charting it! 'Super Dude (Jorun Remix)': Again surprise in a positive way. The a and b side are unique by sound, so respect to that. Pimp Tea is doing something originial here, props to that. Fast dynamic beat, with a change at the end. My personal favorite is still the A side, but lots of interesting sounds on this track."
* DJ EarthQuake - Live365 - Everett, WA - "B Mello was doing a video shoot so Chilly asked me to come in and spin for awhile and I played your cut."
* DJ Mor - Sirius / Underground Army - Fresh Meadows, NY - "I checked the CD. I gotta say it's real different from things I normally get. But I like that! Keep doing ya thing!!!!!"
* DJ Jigida - Radio Student 100.5 - Zagreb 10000, Croatia - "It was requested again last week, expect to receive spins for all tracks on the vinyl you sent. I hope the other djs notice and hook up with you too, thanx again."
* Adam Gould - Broken Kost Productions - Moncton, NB - "The hiphop scene in the maritimes just wouldn't be the same without Pimp Tea. His weekly newsletter keeps everyone on the EC in the loop with anything that has to do with hiphop. He's one of the few that's helping the East Coast develop its own urban community."
* Chris McKee - SL Feldman & Associates - Toronto, ON - "I have mentioned to people within my office that I feel Boggs has a good career ahead of him in artist management. I was impressed with the amount of buzz he has created for himself, especially on the east coast of Canada, which is always a difficult market for hip-hop. His business sense & presentation is impressive."
* Mark Roberts - CIBX / East Coast Music Show - Fredericton, NB - "Brockway Biggs, better known on the Hip-hop scene as Pimp Tea, was finally rewarded for his hard work winning an ECMA award. That award is a testimony to his determination and creativity in being able to find new and creative ways to market himself and his music. Other artists should take note."
* DJ IV - Halifax, NS - "Biggs has proven to be one of Atlantic Canada's most resourceful individuals as he has gained connections to almost every aspect of the business side of a musical career. His strive, persistence and ability to follow through with his work has deemed him as an influential part of Atlantic Canada's hip-hop scene."
* Y-Rush - Halifax, NS - "I used your records as my intro at the Moncton DMC competition. I made it say something like "Eh yo, New Brunswick Canada..." Then I played some of Super Dude, then the acapella over a fast break and on from there. I was able to walk away with 1st!!"
* PrizMatiK - WFTU / HipHopFundamentalz / Q Burn - Massapequa Park, NY - "I was very impressed with the production on "Super Dude." So impressed actually, I would like to get a few more copies. This joint would be a perfect cut to juggle and finese whenever my crew gets down with a b-boy battle. I will definately be cutting this up live on my brand new online station as well."
